Artwork guidelines
Set your files up like this and they'll go straight to print. We check every file before printing and let you know if anything needs fixing.
PDFWe only accept Adobe PDF files.
300 dpiImages at 300 dpi resolution at the printed size.
2 mmBleed on every edge. Use 5 mm for booklets.
5 ptMinimum text size. Outline your fonts (recommended).
CMYKAll colours converted to CMYK, not RGB.
Bleed and trim
Printing is done on larger sheets and then cut to size. Extend any background colour or image 2 mm past the edge of your design so there’s no white edge after trimming.
Keep important text and logos away from the trim line so nothing gets cut off.
Artwork templates
Many products have templates at the right size with bleed marks. Find them on the product page under Artwork templates.
Other file types
PDF is preferred. Files from InDesign, Illustrator or Word can usually be converted to PDF. If you’re not sure, send what you have and we’ll take a look.
