Burpengary’s changed a lot over the past decade. New estates, new shopping precincts, and a steady flow of new businesses trying to establish themselves alongside the ones that have been trading here for years already.

Schools, sporting clubs and community groups add banners, certificates and event flyers to the mix throughout the year, particularly around spring when most of the local fundraisers seem to land.

Easy access to the Bruce Highway has made Burpengary a sensible base for businesses covering Brisbane, Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast. It’s also helped a decent number of home-based businesses get off the ground without needing a shopfront at all, which is a fairly recent shift from how things used to work here.
